The season is changing quickly in Vancouver; I notice it when I am on my way to exercise in the mornings. It is now dark outside when I leave the house.....a sure sign that the days are getting shorter and autumn is on its way.

Harvest and Dry

Collect lavender blooms just as the buds are starting to open. In the past, I put the stems in bunches and hung them up to dry in our garden shed. This year I did not have time to fuss with them so I just let them air dry on our patio table for a few days…
