Kubota Garden - Textures and Patterns

Last weekend our Seattle kiddos took us to a Japanese garden near their home. As many of you know, I am fascinated with patterns and textures. I found the Kubota Garden to be rich with both of these as well as a very peaceful place to walk.

So....grab a cuppa hot chocolate and take a stroll through the garden with me.

I quickly fell behind our group as I was snapping photos and trying to absorb all of the beautiful shapes and colors around me. I was so absorbed in the wonder of the garden that I actually got lost. Yep! It's true. I had to google map myself to find the way out of the garden. And...I found my hubby and kiddos along the way.

Inspiration comes from so many places and sometimes when you least expect it. I thought I would share some of the imagery with you today on the blog and I hope you will be inspired.

I think I am inspired to bring nature indoors for the holiday! How about you?

I'd love to hear what inspired your holiday decorating this year.

Have a beautiful day!
